Last updated: August 17, 2026

Business Reviews LLC ("Business Reviews," "we," "us," or "our") provides a reputation management platform that helps businesses collect, manage, and respond to the reviews left by their customers, including reviews connected through Google Business Profile and other review sources (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to businesses that use the Service and to the individuals whose information we process on a business's behalf.

This Privacy Policy applies to businesses that create an account and use the Service ("Business Customers," "you," or "your"), and to the customers, staff, and other individuals whose information is processed through the Service on behalf of a Business Customer.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing information, and login credentials provided when a Business Customer creates an account.
  • Connected account data: information obtained when a Business Customer connects a third-party account, such as a Google Business Profile account, including business listing details and reviews left by the business's customers.
  • Review and response content: reviews collected on behalf of a Business Customer and any responses the Business Customer drafts or publishes through the Service.
  • Usage data: information about how the Service is accessed and used, including log data, device and browser information, and general location derived from IP address.
  • Communications: information provided when contacting us for support, including the contents of any messages.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including collecting, displaying, and enabling responses to reviews on behalf of a connected business account.
  • Authenticate accounts and maintain the security of the Service.
  • Communicate with Business Customers about their account, updates to the Service, and support requests.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not use information collected through the Service to serve advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing, under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
  • Connected platforms: with the third-party platforms a Business Customer chooses to connect, such as Google, solely as necessary to retrieve and act on that Business Customer's own review data.
  • Legal and safety reasons: where required to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Business Reviews, our Business Customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

4. Google User Data

Where a Business Customer connects a Google Business Profile account, the Service accesses certain data through Google APIs on that Business Customer's behalf. This section explains that access specifically and in addition to the general practices described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

  • What we access: Google Business Profile information (such as business listing and location details) and reviews associated with the connected Google Business Profile account.
  • How we use it: this data is used solely to display, organize, and enable the Business Customer to manage and respond to reviews on behalf of their own connected business account within the Service.
  • What we don't do with it: Google user data accessed through the Service is not used for advertising, is not used to build user profiles for purposes unrelated to providing the Service, and is not sold to any third party.
  • Human access: we do not allow employees or contractors to read Google user data except as necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, with the Business Customer's consent, or to service the specific Business Customer account, such as for support requests initiated by that Business Customer.

Business Reviews' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep Business Customers signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: required for the Service to function, such as maintaining a session after sign-in.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. These are set only with appropriate consent where required by applicable law.

Most browsers allow control of cookies through browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information and review data for as long as a Business Customer maintains an active account, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When a Business Customer disconnects a connected account, such as a Google Business Profile account, we stop retrieving new data through that connection and delete previously retrieved data that is no longer necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and regular review of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by businesses and their authorized personnel and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding personal information we hold about you, which may include the right to:

  • Request access to, or a copy of, personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of personal information.
  • Request portability of personal information you have provided to us.

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah, may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. Where a Business Customer's own customers wish to exercise rights relating to review data processed on that Business Customer's behalf, we will direct the request to the applicable Business Customer or assist the Business Customer in responding, as appropriate. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12 below.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and information we collect may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate.
